The first phase of the construction of a recreational complex was launched on Friday in Kashan, a popular destination in Isfahan Province. The complex, which is being developed with the help of private investors, covers an area of 2,950 square meters, IRIB News reported. The first phase of the complex includes a traditional Iranian bathhouse, a pool and several sports centers. According to Kashan Governor Hamidreza Momenian, 180 billion rials ($4.7 million) have so far been invested in the project. With a population of 253,000, Kashan is an oasis city located on the edge of Dasht-e-Kavir (Kavir Desert).
